NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

          PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Supervisors of Brunswick County will hold a Public Hearing on September 18, 2024 at 7:00 p.m., or soon thereafter, in the Board Room of the Brunswick County Government Building located at 228 North Main Street, Lawrenceville, Virginia, concerning the proposed disposition and conveyance of a Utility Services Easement on property owned by Brunswick County adjacent to approximately 2500 square feet of property being leased by Brunswick County to RiverStreet Communications of Virginia, Inc., being a portion of tax map parcel 55-65, located on the north side of U.S. Highway 58/Governor Harrison Parkway west of Reedy Creek Road near the Dominion natural gas electricity generating plant.  The proposed easement is to grant Mecklenburg Electric Cooperative the right to extend electric utility lines and related infrastructure to provide electric service Riverstreet’s facility supporting fiber broadband services, and such Utility Services Easement is set forth in a drawing that may be viewed at the County Administrator’s office, 228 North Main Street, Lawrenceville, Virginia.  All interested persons are invited to attend and present their views at the time and place above stated. 

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

          PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Supervisors of Brunswick County will hold a Public Hearing on September 18, 2024 at 7:00 p.m., or soon thereafter, in the Board Room of the Brunswick County Government Building located at 228 North Main Street, Lawrenceville, Virginia, concerning the proposed disposition of real property by Brunswick County for the purpose of development of business and light industry.  Such property is approximately 386 acres in size, is located in Brunswick County on the north side of U.S. Highway 58/Governor Harrison Parkway west of Reedy Creek Road near the Dominion natural gas electricity generating plant and consists of property within County tax map parcel numbers 55-64 and 55-65.  All interested persons are invited to attend and present their views on the County’s proposed disposition of such real property at the time and place above stated.
