- Foil and pans keep seperate from the cans
D) Scrap Metal
- Steel, iron, tin, car parts, tire rims, stoves, and hot water heater are acceptable.
- Any LARGE pieces of aluminum
- Is it tin or aluminium? To find out if a can is aluminum test it with a magnet. If it is aluminum, the magnet will NOT stick.

E) Waste Paper
- SINGLE SHEET OFFICE PAPER - White or pastels
- Newspapers, catalogs, memos, file folders, glossy paper, phone books, carbonless forms, colored paper, junk mail, magazines, post-it-notes, white paper, white/colored ledgers, white/brown chip board, hard back books w/ covers removed, mixed office paper, envelopes. Paper products cannot be contaminated with food / beverage

- NO glass recycling in the County at this time

- Refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, hot water heaters and dishwashers, etc.

K) Used Oil / Antifreeze
- Antifreeze can be mixed in the same barrel as the used oil
- NO water, dirt, or other chemical contaminants mixed with oil.

REUSE IT!
Recycling is the final step before an item goes in the landfill. As you do your recycling, thing about how it could be reused.
- Reuse by donating the item
- Reuse by selling it at a garage sale or consignment shop.
Brunswick County has many thrift stores, antique shops and junkyards that take reusable items. Many thrift store profits go to local worthy causes.
Please Do Not Put Trash or Garbage in the Recycle Bins!!!
